Because I love you.

Because I love you.

Because I love you, I will not encage you like a bird, I will not limit your freedom.

I will not take the last bit of worth you feel for yourself away.

I will not deprive you of the love you know you deserve.

Because I love you, I will not make you, a blooming sunflower in spring, feel anything less than beautiful.

I will not unseal the scars you worked so hard to heal and close.

I will not use your fears to scare you into thinking you’re to blame.

Because I love you, I will not call you “useless” nor “worthless”.

I will not threaten you if you decide to leave.

I will not lay a hand on you, if you decide this isn’t healthy for you.

Because I love you, I would never want to lead you to meet hatred towards yourself.

I will not retaliate and gather others to hate you or tear you apart like wolves.

I will not laugh at the idea of you being better off without me.

Because I love you, I will never cause you to feel that you have no purpose.
