Because I Love You
Because I Love You
I miss you every day because I love you
I keep your pictures beside me, and do not allow desperation to misguide me.
You showed me how a man should treat his wife, and how we should all approach life.
When they would mistreat me, you explained how bittersweet it can be
Your wise words complete me, I won’t let anyone defeat me, because I love you.
I work hard in school to make you proud, and remember you’re watching me from the clouds because i love you.
I trust your bold advice, especially preceding your demise, you showed me what unconditional love truly means, because i love you.
My greatest role model, my therapist, my father figure, my grandfather.
Because I love you.
