Because i love you

Because i love you,

i’ll comb the bees

from your hair

and let your

blonde daisies

blossom

like wild flowers

in the spring

i’ll nourish you

through all the seasons

Because i love you,

i’ll hold you close

during the storm

of emotions

when your anxiety

gets the best of you

when the thunder

and the lightning

gets the best of you

i’ll hold you

forever

if that’s what you need

Because i love you,

i’ll take on your demons

i’ll fight them all day

i’ll fight them all night

so you can fall

fast asleep tonight

i know you’re afraid

of the dark

but the lonesome abyss

of nothingness

won’t seem as bad

when i’m with you

Because i love you,

i’ll always stay here

i’ll always be here

for you, my love

when you scream

and shout

when you’re afraid

to let me love you,

i’ll stay here

i’ll be here

for you

because i love you
