Because I Love You

Words will never have the power to describe what you mean to me.

You are my best friend, the one I rely on the most. 

You are my entire support system, my rock, my blanket.

Your arm is my anchor, your smile my sun.

You drown out my worries and give me new hope. 

Looking out at the water as the sky changes colors,

I realized I loved you.

Resting my head on your shoulder I realized you were mine.

And when you asked if you could kiss me, my heart melted.

Your lips were warm and it was the most honest thing I've ever experienced.

I have never cried out of pure happiness before,

but, oh, did I cry that night.

And I would give you the universe if only I could.

You are my entire world.
