Because I Love You
Because I love you,
I let you see
the storm of wonders,
and curiosity
within my restless mind.
I tear free
from all apprehension,
and dive into the uncharted waters
of endless possibilities.
I challenge you
through all adversity
and demand that you see
the chance for you to be
the very best version of yourself,
that gleams.
I'm patient yet eager,
to slowly solve
the puzzle that includes
pieces of
the very depths of you.
I refuse to let a twisted tongue
spin a web of lies,
and trap the honesty
that allows emotions
to flow freely.
Because I love you,
I wish and want
for my love to be
reciprocated wholeheartedly.
