Because I Love You

Because I love you, I am fulfilled.

My plate was already full when she came into my life.

Where would she fit?

Where would I find time for her?

Mindless as I was, she became part of me.

My endless thoughts, my yet to be fulfilled desires.

Love...it was an afterthought as I had been here before, or so I thought.

This. This was indeed a whole new entity in itself.

I watch others around me...

Come and go.

I want her to come and stay.

I can feel her presence building in me like a run-a-way train.

I try to slow it down to no avail.

She has captured my heart with her first words.

What they were I can't recall only that I was a prisoner of her charms.
