Because I Love You

Because I Love You

I will see you

Not physically,

But for who you are.

I will see you

In your darkest times

When the world

Is nothing

But a pool of quick sand

Pulling you

Into its depths

Never releasing its grip.

I will be the one to pull you out,

Because I Love You.

Because I Love You,

I will trust you.

You may have your life

Your privacy

Your friendships

And I will have mine.

Because I Love You,

I will embrace your wild mind.

Loving every flower

That blooms from it.

Loving every butterfly

That lives in it.

Because I Love You,

I will do these things.

Because I choose to love you,

I will choose to

Always,

Only,

Love you.
