Because I love you

Because I love you

I can see your difference

And how they fit perfectly with mine

Because I love you

I am not afraid

to speak my mind.

Say what’s on your heart

and I will hear you,

not just listen.

Because I love you

I can trust you with my secrets,

my deepest thoughts

You are my safe place.

Because I love you

I can see your flaws

and yet

I love you even more for them.

Because I love you

I love what makes you happy

and I am dedicated to being one of those things.

Because I love you

you push me to be better than myself

and inspire me to change for the better,

not the version of myself you want me to be.

You accept me.

All because I love you.
