"Because I love you"
The four word phrase still eludes my mind
It is the complex answer to simple questions
An answer we find hard to understand
An answer that defies logical in every way
It is the answer our parents give to us when we ask
Why do you work so hard
Why do you endure the same soul crushing job everyday
Why do you throw away your happiness for mine
And all they answer
Because I love you
