Because... I Love You

I love you.

I know you don’t believe me when I say it, but it’s true.

I love you despite the crazy.

When the voices in your head make the world hazy-

I love you.

Because I love you I hold you when you cry.

I seek you out when you try to hide.

Because I love you I’ll fight the dark.

I’ll try to heal your broken heart.

Because I love you I’ll embrace your flaws,

Stand up for you against all odds.

Because I love you I give you myself-

The parts I trust with no one else.

Because I love you I give you my heart.

I won’t let anyone tear us apart.

I know you don’t believe me when I say it, but it’s true.

All of this is because I love you.
