because.. I love you

"because i love you"

i heard the words so often they sounded only plain

the words that were supposed to mean so much really meant so little

i would ask myself for reasoning to push through this

ask myself for explanation of my pain

finally, i decided it was too much for me

...

i said it was over and i was done

i was done with this mess

done with it all

but then came those words

"this is all just... because i love you"

the cycle repeated

it seemed to be endless, there was no escape

i knew it musn't be true

these years of pain and sorrow i was put through

but those words made me stay

those words made me feel human

"because i love you"

....

i knew now i must find help

i felt blind to all his words

were they the truth? were they lies?

hearing only falseties for so long made me begin to believe them

"because i love you" should not be what he said to me to justify my hurt

"because i love you" shoud be what i say to myself

"because i love you" shows that i am worth it and do not deserve this hurt

"because i love myself" i must love those who love me

"because i love myself" i must surround myself with those who want me to prosper

"because i love myself" i will no longer let the words "because i love you" fix any mistake
