"Because I love you...&

"Because I love you..."

You use those words against me

In every argument we have.

You use those words to make me feel ungrateful, unloving, and uncaring.

You say my actions hurt you,

When all I want is to find what makes me happy.

Why do you tear me down whenever I begin to stand for what I want?

"Because I love you..."

That's not love.

Love is not creating a false security for your child, only for you to tear them down when they are comfortable talking to you.

Love is not pushing your child to be in situations where they are uncomfortable.

Love is nurturing and helping your child grow to be happy and successful.

Why don't you support me?

Love.

Does that word mean nothing to you?

Does it bring you joy to make me live in hell?

"Because I love you..."

These words are empty.

Meaningless.

You don't know what love is.

I will find my love elsewhere.
