Because I love you
Because I love you, I watch with hopeful eyes you reach your dreams
If your journey be too weary I am the place for you to lean,
I gladly hold the pieces of your heart in mine,
Giving the soundness you need to heal with time,
I give you all trust, patience and sincerity,
All bowers of my soul lie open for you to see,
It matters not your title, wages or front,
Its what lies on the inside that for me is enough,
Because I love you as a person and not property,
I will be there to foster you to find your wings
