Because I LOVE you

I faced the corner, but I still watched you.

I tried not to look, but I still heard you laughing.

I was so scared. Ugly.

STOP looking at me! Ugly.

Call out to me. I will not look at you.

I faced the corner, you walked away.

WAIT! Ugly, scared, same.

They all walk away to find something better.

Wait, please wait. SAME.

I watched you turn around. WAIT! You reached for me.

I faced the corner and you touched my hair.

STOP looking at me! Ugly.

You whispered I Love You.

STOP looking at me! Ugly.

You kissed my head and picked me up.

You will love me forever, you will love me no matter what.

Because you took me home.

Because I am your new pet.
