Because I love you

Because I love you,

I will hold your hand

And support you in your battles.

Because I love you,

I will not wait

Like an idiot

For some "good-night" text

Because I know,

That we all have those days,

Where we are too tired

To pick up the phone.

Because I love you,

I smile,

When you look at me

And laugh,

When you wink at me.

Because I love you,

I'll trust your words,

On every type of night,

Because I know,

We built trust in each other.

Because I love you,

I will never need to feel,

Anxiety, or a question as to

Why you may love me.
