Because I Love You

Because I love you, you should respect me and my wishes.

Because I love you, I should respect yours.

Because I love you, you should be honest and faithful.

Because I love you, communicate with me, care for me.

Because I love you, I do those things for you also.

Now I love you because of you, never in spite of you.

I love you because of your smile, your hair, the way you look at the world,

the way you look at me.

Now, because I love you, you should do the same.
