We fight
And make up
Because we care
And we want to be heard
But in the end
All that matters
Is I’m happiest
Most intelligent
My best self
When I’m with you
Because we care
And I love you
We compromise
Discuss
Build each other up
Not like the last time
Never like the last time
You respect me
And my choices
Even when you disagree
Because you love me
Love can conquer all
But sometimes we shouldn’t let it
It’s not a game
It's a relationship
With give and take
Between two people who care
That's what it comes down too
