Because I Love You

Because I love you I would lie

instead of sitting there and watch you cry,

Because I love you I will  go to the appointment

instead of you looking at me with true disappointment,

Because I love you I will stay home

because I know you hate being left alone,

Because I love you I will cry silently

because if I do it in your face you will react violently,

Because I love you I will do your work

because if I dont it's me you will hurt,

Because I love you I will give myself up

because the last time I said no you messed my face up

Because I love you, I will leave

because I finally realized this is not the love I need
