Because I Love You

When you hate all of your photos

and can't find the right angles.

When you're struggling with repose,

and when your hair's in tangles.

When your acne begins to show,

and when your eyes are puffy.

When you're frozen from the snow,

and your nose gets all stuffy.

When depression hits you hardest,

and you spend hours crying.

When you don't feel like an artist

and you get tired of trying.

I will wrap my arms around you.

I will let my love surround you.

I will sweep you off the ground.

I will sing you pretty sounds.

I will tell you that you're perfect.

I will let you know you're worth it.

I will put nothing above you.

I will because I love you.
