Because, I Love You

You should love me, why? because I love you

Because I cater to you and treat you like a king

Love isn’t just what you say but what you do

You say you love me but you do nothing to show it

Your love is not evident

I put you before myself that is love

You should love me for me

You shouldn’t try to change me and tell me what to be

That is not love

Love is when you tell me I’m beautiful and hold me close

Love is when you shower me with care from the time I slumber til after I’m awoke

You tell me you love me but this is not seen to be true

You should love me because I love you
