Because I Love You

Because I love you isn't a reason

It's an excuse

I should frame you for treason

Teasin' these other girl saying

"I just miss you and love you so much that I had to"

You didn't have to

go out and kiss those other people boo

No

What should it be?

And should I give you the key

to my heart that a few years ago I'd keep safely

under my chest

Beneath my breast?

I lied.

Because I love you can be a reason

Communicating and caring

Sharing and blaring the reasons

why you love me.

I brought you here.

into my arms, I want to know

what was keeping you up at night

How school is going

What is blowing your mind

Is you band performing?

Because I love you
