Because I Love You

How toxic is it to love someone who puts you down?

They tell you only parts of you are placid and pretty

They don't have heart to heart conversations with you

Instead they just use you and abuse you

This won't be me… you can be free

and i am only telling you this

Because i love you…

I  will raise you up and never let you fall

I will love you through it all not just a that fall

When I say this don't take it lightly

We may have our ups and downs but i will still hold you tightly

When we're on our up and you’re feeling down

You desire to make no sound so  you just pound and pound all your feelings down

But I will be there… Because i love you

This isn't some type of “oh i’m telling you i love you because i have to”

This is me saying this from my heart.. because i love you i will tell you

Until it's embedded in your mind that no other person place or thing can be yours that isn't mine

We love because someone first loved us

Now we can build that relationship and trust because we love us

Being with you is always fun… because i love you

This love will never grow old

Never mold

But will always be courageous and bold

Because we are one underneath the sun

And you are far more important than the movies i watch or the polish on my hands

You are my man and I  say this because i love you
