Because I Love You

Healthy means being honest

In a relationship, where simple things bring happiness

No lies, maybe for surprises

But no secrets that will cause unhappiness

Healthy means being who you really are

Not somebody else

Healthy means making your significant other happy

That doesn’t involve questioning your actions

Healthy means sharing each others’

Dark thoughts and sadness

Because ‘I love you’ should mean

Being there for your partner when they need it

Because ‘I love you’ should mean

I am willing to let you see my other sides

Because ‘I love you’ should mean

I am yours ‘til the end

Even if it happens only in books and fairy tales

Everything I do is because I love you

The smile, the happy tears

Are music to my ears

The love I share with you

Is priceless; that, money cannot buy

A relationship without trust

Is a bond, where I can choose to stay

But it won’t go anywhere

Other than breaking my hopes apart

Piece by piece until I decide I had enough

Because I love you I wish the best

For you even if I can’t find my own happiness
