Because I Love You

Because I think I love you, do I jump when I cannot see?

Because I think I love you, do I let all of my fears leave me?

I hold them close you know,

Being trust, abandonment, hope; wrapped with an imperfect bow.

They are a gift; one I can't seem to give.

But theres something about you that makes it all go away.

Is it your kind soul, the gentle touch, your safe arms, that draw me to stay?

It's something you can't quite explain.

And to be honest, it drives me quite insane.

Maybe because, for once, it finally feels real.

And now I understand, that I do love you. And because I love you, this time I'll stay.
