#Because I love you

Because I love you What does that even mean to me? It means that I look for you everywhere I am except where you always are In my heart I long for you in everything I do because nothing is complete until you are In my arms I think about you every time even when I should not because whether I like it or not you are always In my mind I want you in every way I can think of but at the end of it all I would just settle for you In my life I love you because A day with you is like a glimpse into eternity This is what living forever must look like An hour spent doing nothing by your side is a glimpse into heaven itself This is how serenity must be A minute of your time is more precious to me than diamonds This is how being valuable must feel like A second of her presence is like breathing for the first time As short as it maybe this must be what to be alive means You are that scientific kind of love to me The exact point where art becomes science and science defines art At first this love made no scientific sense to me There were no connections between the bonds Until I looked into your eyes and we held our gaze staring into each other Our consciousness must have been mathematically identical Because at that moment I understood what love is At first love seemed illogical There was no point in trying to explain it Until I held you in my arms and we lingered in an embrace Our internal laws ,wants and desires must have been in sync with nature's laws because At that moment love made sense to me In the beginning, love was like an unbalanced equation One impossible to resolve Until I met her and fell for her Our fates must have been intertwined Because in those moments, times and occasions I reached my ultimate state of equilibrium And finally I concluded that love was scientifically incorrect but in all the right ways I came to see that it is impossible to define it, explain it, prove it or fail to feel it Because you are my friend, I love you You remind me of the strange feeling we all have when we meet that friend That strange feeling of anticipation and a subtle whiff of anxiety Will he like me? Will we click into place? Thoughts quickly brushed off when you remember you're life is not on the line And what's at stake ,at most ,is a bond not a life So you relax a bit and let things flow At first strange, awkward and unfamiliar "No one ever knows how or what to say" a consoling thought Slowly though the ice shatters Similarities start to identify He likes such movies just like I do She likes to spend her Sundays just chilling " OMG so do I " Its great! You really understand each other and genuine concern reflects on both of you And then it happens You connect. You meet at that deep point of your beings And your eyes are teary as you realise this person really gets you And "I really like him" "I really adore her" And it's at that moment that you realise you have a friend for life You have that friend That one you can see youself truly coming to love Because I love I feel like a freed man I was thrown into a dungeon of despair A hole inside my heart Where no man had gone before and live to tell the tale It was the deepest darkest part of my heart And inside I was lost and hopeless Bound by the cruel chains of life I had lost purpose I had lost the will to live ,the prospect of love And then I heard coughing next to me Frail cold desperate coughing and I turned And to my surprise a man a few breathes to his last Chained and with an arrow to his chest Right through his heart He said he was cupid He had been there for a long time Thrown away and abandoned he had been waiting for a salvation that never came He had not seen any light until that door opened and I had been thrown in For whom he had hoped for delivery Such irony I was in the same state as he Then he coughed and said that he was far too gone But that he saw in me a love pure and true As though I had been privileged to be loved by her So he removed the arrow in his chest and gave it to me And told me to carry it with me Cupids arrow and weild it's power He told me and I believed him He crowned me and I accepted And with a new sense of purpose I rose up And with new strength i broke the chains that bound me In meeting him I had known her and in knowing her I knew love And in loving her I became free Because I love you I am vulnerable It's ironic ain't it That the only way to truly feel alive is to give someone the power to completely destroy you Let them push you to the edge and at that moment when you are completely vulnerable... They stop then pain Pain that warns us of danger or perhaps that reminds us that we are alive Some choose to embrace it while others to numb it But what if the numbness is the greatest pain of all Since pain acts to connect us with others as long as we can feel it... Thus a lack of it... Hurts So when I am with her I let the pain in and with it I let her in Because no matter how we live or die The end is the same... Silence But we can be remembered by those who loved us to preserve our memory to eternity So I love her deeply I love her painfully
