Because I Love You-I Love You Because

Because I love you, I will fight with you through your fears

Because I love you, I will let you talk for hours at a time,

listening with my heart, not my ears

Because I love you, I won't let us fall,

Because I love you, I will work through it all

I would do anything for you because I love you

I love you because you listen and care

I love you because you are not afraid to share

I love you because you are accepting and forgiving

I love you because you aren't afraid of living

Because I love you, I give you my heart

Because I trust you, I know you won't tear it apart

For I know my heart is in sweet hands,

Hands that help me grow

I love you because you treat me like a flower

tender, caring, affectionate, attentive

I love you because no matter the hour,

you would drop everything to help me,

to listen, to care, to laugh and be there

Because I love you, I see the world in colors

that I have never seen before

Because I love you, I love waking up early

before the sun to see her rise and spread her rays

Because I love you, I am not afraid of anything

Every day is a new beginning, waiting to be explored

I love you unconditionally, infinitely, and indescribably

I am who I am because of you

Thank you for all that you are

Thank you for giving me your heart

And showing me how to live
