because i love you perspective

Because I love you I stood by you when everyone else walked away, I believed

all the lies, I stopped talking and felt alone.

Because I love you I stopped being me, I gave up my friends, I gave up my family.

Because I love you I did things your way and only your way.

Because I love you I was willing to take whatever you through at me and come

crawling back because I loved you too.

Because I love you I was blind to the fact that what we had was not love,

to the fact That everyone deserves more or that

Because I love you was just your excuse.

Because I love you should have been listening and being heard for both of us,

to be fair and that we won’t lie.

Because I love you should mean I want you to be you and no one else.

Because I love you should mean your enough.

Because I love you should mean I want to do things together and grow with you.

Because I love you, should mean that I love you.
