Because I Love You (scholarship slam)

Because I love you,

I promise to give you the rest of my Doritos,

I promise to laugh at your silly jokes,

and I promise to remind you to drink water because I know you often forget to.

Because I love you,

I promise to help you study for big tests,

I promise to encourage you in everything you do,

I promise to be there for you through everything.

Because I love you,

I promise to think of you when I see sunflowers,

and I promise to pick you Daisy's,

I promise to walk your dogs when you're too sick to do so,

and I promise to never forget your birthday.

Because I love you,

I promise to support you in everything you do,

I promise to never hurt you,

and I promise to stand up for what you believe in.

Because I love you,

I promise to love you forever,

I promise to hold your hand and remind you that everything is okay,

I promise to buy you hot latte's when it's cold,

I promise to listen to you.

I promise to love you,

through everything,

through the cold nights,

and through the tears,

I promise to hold you,

and never let go.
