Because I Love you So

Because I Love You So

Silence is all I hear when alone

It’s like an emptiness I can’t avoid

I toy with the idea of saying a word

But I can’t help but remain in this state

With a calm and tender heart

This feeling becomes a desire

Feeling complete in everything when I’m with him

I feel his touch empower my heart

Like a kite, we’re both apart but always connected

This love is never failing, never drying but pure.

I look at my hands and notice the beads

They wrap my hand like a mother caressing her infant

Safety surrounds me, as I pray

My knees begin to ache, A heartbeat begins within them

But nothing could rob me of this peace

I breathe a breath so grateful that he lives in me

I live in his splendor arms, never reaching darkness

He speaks and I hear him, he handles me but I can’t feel him

A tear painfully runs down my cheek

Knowing guilt and shame is where it came from

All of a sudden my sins disappear, as if I never knew them

Afraid of disappointment but remember, he is love and merciful

I cry once more, with tears of sadness but full of joy

“I will not let you fall”

“I will not let you go, but when you disappear for a while”

“There is nowhere I will go”

“because I love you”

“I love you so.”
