Because I Love You Son

Though some are meant to flee

I will stay here for thee

Your mother and I fell apart

But we shall make a new start

Your mother still has love for you

I promise you this is true

Even though it might not seem so

Her love is as beautiful as snow

Because I love you son

Your life is nowhere near done

You have a future so bright

Just follow your inner light
