Because I Love You...I Listen

I look you in the eye when you speak

I see excitement in your eyes when you are on the mountain

I hold your hand when the storm grows dark

I am always there to give you strength.

When you speak, I listen and respond

I keep your secrets and hold them dear

I soak in every word

Reassuring with a calming voice.

When you are quiet, I listen

listen for the reasons

find ways to help

I let you know I care.

Your poem made me feel warm inside, it felt like I wanted to say something simular in my own way to that special one to let him know I feel him joy and pain.
