Because I Loved...

My mind, body, and soul... you had it all.

Broken, torn apart, and in denial

it's all your fault,

because I loved.

I didn't see it coming but who could?

Love is full of chances,

but not for me, because I gave you all of mine.

"I didn't mean to" "She meant nothing to me" "But baby, I love you"

Tell me "baby" why did you have to lie?

The bruises you left on my heart,

I am forever stained,

all because I loved.

Because I loved you,

I lost my self,

I forgot my worth,

and because of love...

because of YOU...

I don't know what the word "Love" means anymore.

BECAUSE.

I.

LOVED.
