Because I loved you

Because I loved you i chose to stay around and defended you whenever my friends tried to bring you down.

Because I loved you i accepted you for who you were, gave you my trust, but couldn't get any of that in return.

because i loved you i allowed you to humiliate me and forgave you for everything you did to break me...because i loved you.

because i loved you i realized i didn't love myself, put all my effort into loving you and didn't do the same for myself.

because i loved you i had to let you go and let you go be happy on your own. I had to learn to love me and do whatever i needed to make myself happy.

because i love you i wish you the best, it's time to focus on myself and let life do the rest.
