because I loved you it was easy for me to drop everything 

no hesitations or second thoughts when it came to you 

wherever you were, that was where I wanted to be 

but when you said "i love you" 

I felt it was all too good to be true 

because I loved you I was willing to do whatever to make you happy 

not realizing that I wasn't even happy myself 

it was sweet to hear you say "i'll never leave you" 

but a stab in the back when you went away 

and because I loved you, I didn't realize that you didn't love me in the same way 

because I loved you, it hurt when you pushed me aside 

but I still pray that you'll be alright 

because I love you, I still want the best for you 

because I love you, I still think about you 

because I love you, our pictures are still in my camera roll 

in hopes that one day you realize how much I really did and still do love you.
