"Because I Love/Loved You"

Because I love you...

I let you break down my walls

That I've kept infrangible to those I feared would hurt me

Because I love you...

I've done things I shouldn't have done for you

Because I love you...

I've become addicted to the taste of your lips,

The way you smile...oh that alluring smile

It brings back the memories we had before...

All the cursing, the screaming, the yelling, the beatings, the breaking of glass...

Because I love you...

There was no way for me to escape the adrenaline running through my body,

From my head to my toes

 Because I love you...

I've forgiven you for the pain, distress, and despair

you've brought upon me

Because I love you...

I became conscious of how lethal you were to me,

and how lethal I was to you

Because I love you...

I nevertheless love you...

Because I love you...

I've concluded that I should no longer suffer in pain

and let myself free from this so called thing love

Becaused I love you...

I thank the for the memories

Because I love you...

Our love will forevemore be engraved within my brain
