Because I (only) Love you....

Because I love you...

I see past the flaws.

I see what is blind to the normal naked eye.

Because I love you

I get butterflies when I see you every day

At your locker with a gross attitude

I say hi and you nod and I feel that that is enough

Because I love you

I feel obligated to give you my attention

But in return, you give her your attention

Jelously should not be present for the fact that I mean nothing to you

But Because I love you I stay

Struggling to move on

Because I love you

I reject other attention because it is not yours

I dream of what we could be and wonder why

Why can’t you love me

Because I love you

When you tell me my friends are terrible

I listen to you and start to cut, slowly

The people who mean more than you

But Because I love you..

My heart suffocates my mind

Making you the most meaningful

Because I love you...

I forget who I am

I become an image of what pleases you

Because I love you

Everything that was once wrong

It is now right to me

Because I love you

I am thinking of you as I write this

And Because I love you

I know you will love someone else

As I move on, will you think of the what ifs

Because I love you, I will let go

But it stays carved deep within my heart

Difficult to ignore

But not impossible to live with

Because I loved you

I see I deserve better

You make me feel guilty

Really you are to blame

Because I loved you

I have wasted my precious time

Time I could’ve gave to him

But I stayed

I was hurt

Because I loved you...

And you’ll never love me.
