Because I Thought You Loved Me

You stood at the front of the bus,

and all I could see was us.

As you walked down the aisle,

You took a seat at the front but all I could do was smile.

We had the same music class,

You were a woodwind and I was a brass.

I began chaisng after you,

As the days passed are friendship grew.

But who would have guessed that behind your disguise,

that sweet guy was full of lies.

We broke up later on,

I didn't realize that in your game I was only a pawn.

We got back together,

Us unpredictable as the weather.

We were bound to break right from the beginning,

Day to day our bond only thinning.

Now that I realize my mistake,

I see that you were only flake.

Should have ended it when I could,

Now that it's officially over I left with nothing good.

You tried to make me so insecure so that I would never leave,

but in the end I'm the one who became the thieve.

You begged so much to have me back,

Not anymore you jack***.

Love is not what we had,

love is something good, something real but never bad.
