After a long day when my shoulders are low

My face in a frown, because the rest of the world turned it upside down

Can you make my smile grow?

Will you take me by the hand, and help me stand?

And when my tears fall

Can i count on you to wipe them all?

Would you make the choice to dive in, pull me out, and pull me in

When i breathe, would i find clarity?

In clarity, would you even stand with me?

With an Open mind, open mouth, and open heart

Where else should start?

Yes you love me, that may be true

But what happens when problems arise out of the blue?

Could we still stand, not through sight but by mind?

If you dug deep would you like whats to find?

Like the ocean,vast, scary and deep

If the world wiped me blind

That type of unrelenting love a mother would give to her cub

Not the love found and lost at a pub

I mean compassion, i mean care

Not just those present when i'm there.

I turn to you and ask

"Do you love me?"

You pull me in, against your skin

Your first words - "Where do i start?"
