Because I'm in love with you...
I dance in a crowd with not a care
The glimmer of you smile melts my world
With every passing second
The gaze of your eyes sends me deeper and deeper
Into the trance of your love
It enticed me to let my heart run with yours
With each beat, the drum rang
through our hearts syncing them perfectly
With each spin, my worries fade into further and further oblivion
As the song begins to fade into the night
Adrenaline began to pump through my veins
As my body craved more time within your arms
My mind flashed blank
My hands grew damp…
My heart began to ache
You began to pull away
With the distance growing my body begins to panic
You turn with confusion in your eyes
Upon our mutual gaze, you see the pain within mine
Your hand gestures me to follow you through the crowd
Leading me to the outskirts of the bar you ask
“What’s wrong”
“I don’t want to spend another moment without you”
“Why?”
“Because I’m in love you…”
“Then, stay with me.”
