Because I'm A Nigger
I've been called a nigger
Told I'd be hanged
Threatened for the fact that my skin color won't change
Police have killed my friends
White women grab their bags when they see my friends
We mean no harm, but we are stereotyped as criminals
Maybe not out loud but the message is subliminal
This is enough to leave anger in our heart
We do our best with what we have but even our teachers aren't that smart
It is obvious we are at a disadvantage
Due to our color and we can't stand it
It wasn't our ancestors idea to come here
Yet we must embrace your culture
Why, it is obvious we are physically superior
And when given the right materials equally intelligent
So why treat us as if we're belligerent
We only act in this way when forced into it
Treat us like humans and maybe we'll act as so
Until then you can kiss black assholes
