Because I'm Not Her

I know I'm not stupid, I just seem to barely pass.

It's not that I don't try, it's because I'm not Her, the one in my class.

She is funny, hilarious in fact.

I just sit in the corner, not knowing how to act.

Her hair flows, skinny jeans show her curves, makeup stuns the boys.

I have a ponytail, Philadelphia Eagles sweater, with the acne that annoys.

"Why oh why don't you participate in class?"

I know what to say, I just have nothing to ask.

She will be going to a University, one of the best.

I will be searching, struggling like the rest.

Not because she is smart, smarter than me.

Its because he, my teacher, chose Her over me.
