In Kubla Khan did Xanadu -

Or the other way around, does it matter?

Where else do syntax and rhythm smell so important?

Where else does dew glisten on AstroTurf

Like the sweat of a spicy summer lover?

Where else does the crease between the corner of one’s mouth and the notch of one’s nose

Stretch five miles,

Creating a canyon.

Vocabulary is the appetizer;

 The main course is served on a bass drum.

The herbs used are implication.

Where else but in a work of Coleridge or Brodsky

Can one find garlic and parsley?

In poetry does the art of language

A stately pleasure dome decree
