Because I love you I thought it was okay,

Because I love you I left it all at bay,

Because I love you I let it all happen,

Because I love you I thought I was in a haven,

Because I love you I let you do what you wanted,

Because I love you I let you make me feel unwonted,

Because I loved you- I realized too late that this was not love
