because love takes two

Because I love you..

Because I love you

The truth will be known

I will make sure

you aren’t feeling alone

Because I love you

Our souls intertwine

Before our bodies

You’ll know my mind

Because I love you

I’ll hold your hand

And be your ground

I’ll be your land

Stop looking for a home

Find it in me

You can be an “I”

While we still are a “we”

Because I love you

I’ll swallow my pride

Tell you my secrets

Have nothing to hide

Because I love you

I’ll stand in your rain

Drenched in sorrows

Sharing your pain

Because I love you

I’ll love myself first

I can’t help you

If I’m at my worst

Because I love you

hold me too

When I honestly

don’t know what to do

and because I love you

you won’t have to replace

your former visage

don’t mask your face

Because I love you
