Because Our Love Is Unconditional

Because I love you

I don’t need to touch you

To feel you

Deep within my heart,

Within my soul

And within my bones

Is my only desire.

Our love

Is a work of art

To be admired

To be aspired to

Be the standard of loving relationships

Love, when you talk, I listen

To your sorrows, I provide a shoulder to cry

On days when you want space

I offer you the galaxy,

The moon, the stars, and a place

Where you feel comfortable to be free.

Is love but a feeling?

Is it an attraction one can’t control?

Is it blank canvas

Waiting to be painted?

Is it a question

Begging to be answered?

Unconditional

My love for you is unconditional.

I know the worst

Of your faults and mistakes

Past and present

But I’m still here

Because I choose to be here

Because love is a choice

And I make that choice consciously

Because I love you0
