Because she has to love him

In the white dress as it glided across the church floor

He said to her, “Because I love you forevermore”

It was all planned out from the childhood scrapbook

With the boy who fell with her magnificent look.

He promised, “Because I love you I will always protect you”

So she knew his words were true

Their relationship was filled with compassion and understanding

But she did not see the sooner than later crash landing

He led her to believe it was true and right

But he really wasn’t her true knight

It should have been filled with honesty and compromise

But instead was filled with gloomy skies

“Because I love you, you won’t go out with them tonight”

He said to her leading up to a fight

“Because I love you I’m the only one you need”

He said as she agreed

"Because I love you..."

"Because you have to love me..."
