Because We Can

We end on failure

but, we feed off of that failure.

We succeed

yet, we don't end on a success.

Our goal is to own the time,

own and cherish the seconds of free fall

But why do we jump in celebration

after we've fallen so far?

What's the purpose of flying,

if we end up where we started?

The rush.

The adrenaline.

The end goal and thirst of soaring for seconds longer than most

Limitations are meant to be pushed

Boundaries are meant to be tested

The purpose of our lives

is to seek what is within sight

but just out of reach.

Because the person before us who set that record

has placed the boundary for which we are destined to break.

Because the knowledge of possibility

is enough to drive the want for success.

Because...

Because we can

Because we will
