Because We Love One Another

Because I love you, I understand that you may not love me back

Because I love you, I feel accountable for you and keep you on track

Because I love you, I over look the things that you "lack"

Because I love you, the decisions I make are cardiac

Because you love me, in God's eyes, you will do what is right

Because you love me, you will respect me during the day and the night

Because you love me, you will stay with me even when the days aren't bright

Because you love me, you will mention me in your prayer tonight

Because we love one another, wicked thoughts will be disposed of,

Because we love one another, real love will sure be known of,

Because we love one another, we see that we are blessings from above

Because we love one another, we understand that some blessings need to be let go of

Because of life, we respect that we're meant for another house

Because of life, we acknowledge that we're probably someone else's future spouse

Because of life, we've loved, learned, and had fun

But because of life, we can now go and find the right one
