Because Who Loved Me?

Molly Mead

#BecauseILoveYou

I have been in less than 5 relationships, all because the ones I was in consisted of manipulation, guilt, and a lot of betrayal.

But somehow, I’m still stuck in one, real unhealthy relationship.

It’s like I’m trapped in a cage, like a dog and I can’t seem to find an exit.

But I remain strong because he loves me, right?

He sometimes shows it.

I believe that love is not only an emotion but it also takes dedication, and much, much more.

Loyalty, do not cheat

Communication, do not lie

Trust, give your person a sense of trustworthiness

Respect, treat them well.

Compassion, tell them you are always there

But is that always present here in this relationship?

No.

He’s cheated.

He’s lied.

He’s not trustworthy.

But somehow, I keep coming back.
