Because Of You

Because of You

Because of you, i spend my nights awake trying to figure out what i did wrong and why couldn’t you take me back

Because of you, i have my bad days and because of you, i don’t know who to go to when something is wrong

Because of you, i pushed everyone away from me and don’t want to let anyone else in

Because of you, i spend my weekends singing my heart out with that red plastic cup filled with liquor in my hand, just to erase your memories for a while and enjoy myself

Because of you, i spend some nights crying myself to sleep, because you meant everything to me

And you were too blind and had your pride a little too high to see that when i begged for you back in your face

Because of you i reminisce about the day you broke my heart

And how you went from “Have a good day babe, I’ll text you when i’m out I love you” to “I’m done with your bullshit !”

It all happened in a flash,

In a blink of an eye you walked out my life so

Because of you i now believe that forever doesn’t mean forever like you promised me

And all of this is because I loved you.
